The Role:

Veritas Education are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Working closely with teachers, the SENCo, and the wider support team, you'll help students overcome barriers to learning and reach their potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

  • Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet individual needs

  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and routines

  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities

  • Help build pupils' confidence, communication, and social skills

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience supporting students with SEN or working in a secondary school

  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Understanding of safeguarding and student wellbeing

  • Degree (minimum lower second)
