Veritas Education are working with an Ofsted outstranding primary school in Chiswick to appoint a caring, enthusiastic teaching assistant to work full-time in KS2. This impressive primary school has a fantastic reputation within the local community and provides a favourable work and learning environment for staff and pupils alike.

The role:

The successful applicant will be working with children within KS2, either in small groups or on a one to one basis. As a graduate teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the teaching and learning of children within the classroom, as well as their welbeing outside of the classroom. You will work closely alongside the class teacher as well as families and carers to ensure that each student can thrive and fuflil their potential.

The successful applicant requires:

  • Minimum education - Undergraduate Degree.
  • Experience working within the education sector is desired but not essential.
  • Academically strong and enthusiastic about education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
