About the Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a school in Hammersmith & Fulham, you will work closely with teachers and students to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them overcome learning barriers.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensuring they receive the assistance they need.
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive learning attitudes.
  • Preparing learning materials, setting up activities, and assisting with assessments.
  • Gaining direct insight into lesson planning, classroom management, and the day-to-day responsibilities of teachers.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
  • Hold or be in the process of completing a degree qualification.
  • Be committed to the role for at least two terms.
  • Have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (Overseas Police Clearance if applicable).
  • Provide professional references and a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history (where possible).
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
