Role: Commercial Administrator

Location: North London

Salary: up to £35,000

As a Commercial Administrator, you'll be the backbone of the commercial function—bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. If you love variety, take pride in precision, and thrive in a team that focuses on quality, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing?

You’ll work closely with Quantity Surveyors and wider commercial team to ensure smooth contract administration and billing processes, including:

  • Prepare and issue subcontractor pre-work schedules using operational scopes, and draft scoping/pricing documents for internal review.
  • Input variations into client systems and ensure accurate logging and coding of new works from booking sheets, photos, and subcontractor info for QS and client approval.
  • Review and process subcontractor applications, then release approved invoices through our financial system.
  • Raise and submit client invoices, working closely with their payroll teams to secure timely payments.
  • Track and resolve post-inspection queries to keep operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For?

  • Proven experience in an administrative role—ideally within a commercial or maintenance-focused environment.
  • A confident communicator who’s comfortable interacting across teams and with clients.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Exceptionally organised with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with construction or subcontractor-based workflows is a bonus, but not essential.

What’s in It for You?

  • Join a respected Tier 1 contractor with long-term career growth.
  • Work alongside industry professionals in a collaborative, down-to-earth team.
  • Competitive salary package and benefits.
  • Career development opportunities within a growing business.
