Are you a talented Electrical Design Engineer and looking for the next step in your career?

Our client, a renowned consultancy, who specialise in the provision of advisory and technical guidance, are on the hunt for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team, on a permanent basis. This position includes delivering high quality design works for a variety of complex electrical system projects, across the UK, centred around the water sector.

As the chosen candidate, you will work within a hybrid working arrangement, with an occasional office presence to one of our client's offices nationwide, where you'll deliver consistent and accurate project works, ensuring operational excellence.

-Competitive salary of 60,000-75,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

-Produce detailed Electrical, Control, Instrumentation, and Automation designs, working independently or collaboratively, adhering to project and client requirements.

-Liaise with project professionals, across a range of disciplines, coordinating work outputs, ensuring transparency and clarity, and alignment with design and plan intent.

-Work alongside key project bodies, including clients, stakeholders, and other professionals, nurturing effective communication and smooth project delivery.

-Assemble intricate design calculations, reports, documentation, and drawings, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency across all project phases.

-Ensure all project works align with business management principles and contract expectations, whilst nurturing SHEQ performance throughout project development.

-Drive continuous business development and innovation by staying up to date on industry advancement opportunities and integrating these across project works.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and a Membership of The Institution of Engineering and Technology, whilst working towards a professional registration.

-Significant experience delivering high quality design and build works, across various water projects, as an Electrical Design Engineer, or a related position.

-Strong acknowledgement of BIM design principles, and a strong technical background, with a proficiency of relevant industry software tools, including Revit and Plant 3D.

-Excellent understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and codes, best practices, British Standards, and Water Industry principles and specifications.

-Effective collaboration, communication, and people management skills, with a full UK driving license, with a willingness to travel to sites when necessary.
