Our client, an established construction firm, are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join their team, on a 6-month contract basis, outside IR35. -Competitive day rate ranging from 350-400 (subject to experience).

Responsibilities:
-Produce and develop intricate electrical system designs, from concept through to detailed design, focusing on power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.
-Establish in-depth drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and key documentation, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
-Liaise with key project professionals, including BIM, mechanical, structural, and architectural design teams, to allow for accurate design solution integration.
-Attend regular site visits, inspecting all site works with regards to design intent, whilst supporting commissioning acts when necessary.
-Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and external specialists to ensure that designs accurately reflect client requirements, whilst maintaining quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Building Services Engineering, or a relevant discipline, ideally holding a Chartered Engineer status.
-Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, designing detailed electrical system drawings across a range of high-profile projects.
-Significant understanding of key industry software tools and resources, including Revit, AutoCAD, and other calculation platforms.
-Strong acknowledgment of industry standards, regulations, codes, key legislation, and best practices.
-Proficient collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks and responsibilities effectively, keeping to budgets and deadlines.
