About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Engineer to join a leading FM provider, delivering technical services within a prestigious Grade II listed commercial building in West Central London. This is a static site role with a split days schedule, ideal for an engineer with strong building services experience and a keen eye for detail in heritage environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
  • Maintain lighting systems, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and distribution boards
  • Support the operation and monitoring of BMS systems
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and site-specific heritage requirements
  • Assist with minor mechanical tasks and general building services support
  • Liaise with subcontractors and ensure high standards of service delivery

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Experience working in commercial building services, ideally within heritage or listed buildings
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of compliance and health & safety standards
