We are working with a leading service provider who is seeking a dependable and experienced Foot Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across a portfolio of commercial buildings in Central London. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety, independence, and working in a fast-paced city environment—without the need to drive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across multiple commercial sites, travelling on foot or via public transport
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out safe, effective repairs
- Complete minor installations, upgrades, and remedial works
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company standards
- Maintain accurate job records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company across high-profile London sites
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience in commercial building maintenance (FM background preferred)
- Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently
- Professional communication and customer-facing skills
- Comfortable navigating Central London without the use of a van
