We are recruiting a Shift Electrical Engineer to join the on-site team at a large, well-maintained commercial building near Liverpool Street.

This role suits a Shift Electrical Engineer with solid experience in electrical maintenance, particularly PPM and reactive works, who is comfortable working day shifts in a client-facing environment.

The role

As a Shift Electrical Engineer, your duties will include:

• Electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

• Electrical fault finding, repairs and reactive maintenance

• Maintenance of lighting, power and LV distribution systems

• Acting as Low Voltage Authorised Person (LVAP) on site

• Ensuring statutory compliance and safe systems of work

• Completing job sheets, permits and compliance documentation

• Liaising with the client and supervising subcontractors when required

There is some mechanical exposure, but the role is electrically biased.

What we’re looking for

• Level 3 Electrical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Proven experience in commercial building services or FM

• Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance

• Confident working 7am–7pm day shifts

• LVAP certification (essential)
