Electrical Engineer
Eastcheap, London | Full-Time | Permanent | Security Clearance: BPSS

Ivy Resource Group is recruiting on behalf of a tier 1 contractor, looking for a highly capable and motivated Electrical Engineer to join their London team based in Eastcheap. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-value projects within a market-leading engineering and infrastructure company.



The Opportunity

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing engineering services across all stages of a project - from planning and procurement through to installation and commissioning. You will lead project delivery technically, commercially, and safely while ensuring client satisfaction is maintained at every step.



What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage all engineering services activities in line with company processes and project documentation

  • Lead project planning and execution to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery

  • Oversee day-to-day resourcing and team performance, reporting any staff-related matters

  • Ensure positive project cash flow and manage cost reporting and commercial issues (WIP)

  • Identify and meet client requirements throughout the project lifecycle

  • Represent the company in all internal and external project matters

  • Prepare detailed project plans, procedures, and reporting documentation

  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with standards and expectations

  • Manage procurement to achieve best value and manage subcontractor performance

  • Identify and mitigate project risks

  • Coordinate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders

  • Support installation, commissioning, and handover activities

  • Ensure robust health and safety practices are followed at all times



What We're Looking For

  • Electrical and HVAC bias

  • Strong project management experience - technical, commercial, and on-site delivery

  • Experience managing labour, procurement, subcontractors, and variations

  • Ability to interpret and apply project specifications

  • Track record of delivering M&E packages over 2m in value

  • Experience within healthcare projects is highly desirable

  • Familiarity with stakeholder engagement, O&M manual compilation, and contract cost control

  • Strong technical knowledge of installation and commissioning



Skills & Qualifications

  • BEng (Hons) in Building Services Engineering - preferable

  • HNC or ONC in Building Services - essential

  • IOSH Directing Safely - preferable

  • CSCS card - essential

  • SMSTS - preferable

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
