Great vacancy for a junior Electrical Shift Engineer to gain exposure to a high end commercial property which is a short walk from Euston train station. You'll be joining a long standing, well respected building service provider and be part of a tight knit maintenance team!This is a static role, following a fixed shift schedule of 4 on / 4 off, (Day shift only, no nights)Electrical Shift Engineer duties:
- PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
- Electrical Fault-Finding
- Single & Three Phase Power
- Emergency Lighting
- Fire Alarms
- BMS Operation
- AHUs
- FCUs
- Generators
- VAV/VRFs
- Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
- Cooling Towers
- Pumps & Motors
- Site Folders, E-logbooks, Managing Contractors, Audits, Quotations
Electrical Shift Engineer Requirements:
- Fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent) + 17th edition minimum
- At least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance
- Good knowledge of commercial mechanical and electrical systems
- Client facing skills
- Apprentice trained would be desirable, not essential
