About the Role As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will work alongside senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in electrical building services design. This role offers the chance to contribute to the development of electrical systems for a wide variety of projects, shaping the future of the built environment. You will develop your design, technical, and software skills while supporting senior engineers in delivering high-quality, sustainable building services. The role provides the opportunity to take responsibility for key tasks and collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering innovative engineering solutions. In this role, you will:

Assist in designing Electrical Building Services systems under senior guidance
Perform calculations using tools such as Amtech and Dialux/Relux
Support electrical specifications, drawings and technical documentation
Contribute to project delivery, including design development and coordination
Attend meetings, conduct site visits and maintain accurate project records
Work with BIM teams and follow company quality and compliance standards

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a relevant engineering degree and be working towards Chartered status or have equivalent experience.

A minimum of 1 to 4 years'experience within building services engineering.

Have a solid understanding of electrical design, with proficiency in Amtech, Dialux/Relux, NBS, and Microsoft Office packages.

Be a strong problem solver with a passion for delivering innovative, sustainable engineering solutions.

Be eager to develop professionally in a supportive environment, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibility.

Enjoy working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and be ready to take initiative within projects.

Have excellent communication skills, including the ability to write technical reports and document information clearly.

Experience in attending design team and client meetings is preferred but not essential.
