Your new companyOur client are a large, leading FM service provider who operate across the UK and globally. Due to a new contract win, they are hiring a number of engineering roles for their delivery team. Their end client are a large public sector organisation with a significant portfolio of commercial and residential properties. You will be working on a van mobile basis, with company van provided, and working hours are Monday - Friday 8 - 5.Your new roleAs a Mobile Electrical Engineer you will work on a van mobile basis and carry out a range of electrical, as well as mechanical and general maintenance where possible, to relevant plant and equipment in a range of commercial properties for a large public sector portfolio. Key duties will include:

  • Identify and manage the risks to end client through equipment on site, including identifying critical spares, improving performance of plant & equipment, improving planned maintenance program.
  • Fault finding on electrical equipment and plant.
  • Reactive and PPM maintenance tasks.
  • General maintenance where required.

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role you will require relevant experience in an electrical maintenance role within commercial properties. You will also require:

  • Level 3 Electrical or equivalent
  • 18th edition
  • 2391 is desirable
  • Full UK driving license
  • Public sector estate experience desirable
  • Experience and willingness to operate in a multi-skilled capacity where possible
