Company Overview - Pump Engineer
Our client is a well-established name in the pump sector, with over 25 years of industry experience. Known for their high standards and reliable service, they operate across multiple sectors including residential, commercial, hospitality, and public sector.
Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking to expand their field-based team with a skilled Pump Engineer to support their expanding client base.
Pump Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
- Working in the following sectors:Residential, Commercial, Public Sector, Hospitality & Retail.
- Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site
- Carry out effective communications with the client and administration teaEnsure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to.
- Work on client sites performing general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified.
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment.
- Work with grey water and effluent systems and work within confined spaces.
- Communicate effectively with the service team, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment, with the use of a PDA and mobile phone.
- Provide positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers.
- Work independently or as a member of a team.
- Attending to call outs on a rotational basis - Participate in our Emergency Call Out Rota.
- Covering the following area: London & surrounding areas.
Pump Engineer Skills and Experience:
- A Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (Essential)
- A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
- At least 2 years of experience working within the sector
- Relevant qualifications are desirable such as BS7671:2008 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Qualification would be highly advantageous.
- A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
- Good product knowledge of the following: Grey water and effluent systems/ submersible pumping stations.
