Section Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join a major RC shaft construction project. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven engineer to work on a technically challenging civil engineering scheme, operating outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day engineering activities on an RC shaft

• Setting out, QA, and as-built records

• Producing and reviewing RAMS and ITPs

• Coordinating with site management, subcontractors, and design teams

• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification

• Supporting temporary works and lift sequencing where required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Section Engineer on civil engineering projects

• Strong background in reinforced concrete works (shafts, deep structures, or similar)

• Proficient with setting out equipment (Total Station, GPS)

• Solid understanding of health & safety and quality procedures

• CSCS card (required)

• Temporary Works experience desirable
