The role
They are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy. You will play a key role in delivering technically challenging projects, supporting and mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the continued growth of the electrical design team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a supportive, non-hierarchical environment and enjoys being trusted to manage their responsibilities with autonomy.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and deliver electrical design for mission critical and data centre projects.
* Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders confidently and professionally.
* Take ownership of project deliverables from concept through to completion.
* Stay informed of industry trends, codes, and innovations.
What they looking for
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
* Experience delivering electrical design solutions within the building services industry.
* Knowledge of relevant standards and codes (e.g. BS7671, CIBSE, etc.).
* Excellent communication and team-working skills.
* A proactive, collaborative attitude and desire to learn and grow.
* Able to manage workload independently and take full responsibility for tasks.
