Your New CompanyJoin a growing building services consultancy based in London. With four additional offices across the UK, this firm prides itself on its collaborative culture and commitment to excellence in design. They have recently opened up a new London office under a Director and are looking to hire to develop the team further and quite quickly grow to 10-20 Engineers.
Your New RoleAs a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in steering high-profile electrical design projects from concept through to completion. You will lead the development of detailed electrical schematics, execute advanced calculations, and ensure that every project adheres to both regulatory and industry standards. In this influential role, you'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, directly interface with clients, and provide strategic technical guidance while mentoring junior engineers.
What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Proven Expertise: A degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) along with substantial hands-on experience in electrical design, preferably within the building services sector.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Demonstrated success in leading teams and projects, with a knack for mentoring emerging talent and managing client expectations.
  • Technical Mastery: Proficiency in industry-standard design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent) coupled with a deep understanding of electrical design principles and current regulatory standards.
  • Innovative Thinking: A passion for developing creative, sustainable solutions and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills that foster effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and facilitate smooth client interactions.
