I'm working with a respected, forward-thinking building services consultancy that's looking to grow their team with the addition of a Senior Electrical Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established practice known for delivering high-quality design across a wide range of projects.

Role overview:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be involved in all stages of design and delivery, from feasibility and condition surveys through to project completion. You'll work closely with the wider design team and take the lead on electrical elements of projects, while also supporting junior and intermediate engineers.
You'll also:

  • Carry out electrical design, surveys, specifications, and drawings
  • Lead on M&E elements of projects where required
  • Prepare budgets and cost plans
  • Attend design team meetings, technical reviews, site meetings, and workshops
  • Conduct site inspections, snagging, and post-completion reviews
  • Deliver feasibility studies and technical reports
  • Advise on sustainability, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction
  • Review tenders and support with contractor appointments
  • Use tools like Amtech, Revit, BIM, and TAS to produce high-quality design output
  • Support internal innovation and improve working methods
  • Represent the business at industry events and support business development efforts
  • Take part in annual reviews, CPD, and mentoring of junior staff
  • Adhere to all health & safety requirements and complete weekly timesheets
