Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Southwark, London
Pay Rate: £25 - £28 P/H
Job Type: Full-time, Contract
The Role:We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support our client n delivering a large Domestic Electrical Installation Condition Reporting (EICR) programme. You'll oversee electrical contractor works, carry out site inspections, and ensure compliance through detailed reports and certification reviews.
You'll be the go-to person for reviewing EICRs, agreeing on remedial works, and making sure installations reach satisfactory outcomes. Knowledge of domestic fire alarm systems and related certification is essential.
This role is mainly office-based with regular site visits to assess work quality, liaise with stakeholders, and occasionally work from home once probation is passed.
The Candidate:- Experience working with external contractors in a social housing setting
- Strong reporting skills for use in progress meetings
- Confidence reviewing electrical certifications and agreeing on remedial work
- A solid understanding of domestic fire alarm systems and servicing
- Ability to work across both office and site environments
Essential qualifications:
- BS7671 18th Edition (2382)
- Inspection & Testing (2391)
- Level 3 Qualification in Electrical Installations or equivalent time-served apprenticeship
