MK Search have partnered with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of circa 350m and a strong national presence delivering flagship projects across sectors who are looking for a senior electrical project engineer to join their team for the PCSA stage of a notable 48m M&E mixed use commercial projects in Central London
Reporting to an MEP project director, you will take control of the electrical package acting as lead electrical engineer to co-ordintate and manage all front end activities before going to site next year to deliver the proejct.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit technical documents for approval.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors, and specialists on product specifications, validation, and value engineering.
- Assist in project engineering and design progression.
- Work with clients, design team members, and contractors on both technical and commercial aspects.
- Participate in pre-construction engineering, including design development, technical submittals, construction details, and sub-contract management.
- Oversee services coordination and address any issues.
- Provide technical expertise to estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing, and construction teams.
- Mentor and guide team members in their roles.
