With the infrastructure team continuing to grow, this position offers the opportunity to shape project strategy, influence team development, and contribute to business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

路Provide day-to-day support, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
路Check and review technical drawings, reports, and calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
路Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, taking responsibility for technical negotiations and submissions (S104, S38, S278).
路Prepare fee proposals, manage budgets, and contribute to business development activities.
路Support the preparation of planning documents including Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Technical Notes, and Utilities Statements.
路Lead or support due diligence reviews and site appraisals.

About You
We are looking for an experienced and motivated engineer with the following:
路A degree in Civil Engineering (or similar), ideally working towards or already chartered (ICE or similar).
路Significant experience in development infrastructure projects, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
路Strong working knowledge of MicroDrainage and AutoCAD; experience with Civils 3D would be a distinct advantage.
路Sound understanding of planning and detailed design processes, including securing technical approvals for S104, S38, and S278.
路Excellent communication skills, with confidence in leading meetings and liaising with clients and external stakeholders.
路A proactive attitude, with the ability to manage workload, support junior staff, and contribute to team growth.

Benefits
路Based at the central London head office, with the option to work from home 2 days per week.
路Competitive salary reviewed annually in July, based on individual and company performance.
路37.5-hour work week with flexible start and finish times.
路Paid overtime or time off in lieu for hours above 37.5 (subject to approval).
