Electrician - JIB gold card, 27 ph, start 13/10/2025
Location: Mile End (primary), with occasional work in Whitechapel & Barbican
Start Date: 13th October 2025
Duration: 2-3 weeks
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (no paid lunch break)
Rate: 27/hour
Role:
We are looking for a qualified Gold Card Electrician to assist with general commercial building maintenance in Mile End, with occasional work at Whitechapel and Barbican. This role will involve:
- Carrying out general maintenance electrical work.
- Performing basic testing if required (no formal inspections or sign-off responsibilities).
- Assisting with emergency lighting repairs and reactive works as needed.
- Working safely and efficiently across multiple sites as requested.
Requirements:
- Gold ECS / JIB card mandatory.
- Must have own tools.
- Basic understanding of testing equipment and procedures.
- Able to work across multiple London sites when needed.
- Experience in commercial maintenance preferred.
Additional Info:
- Short-term assignment to support ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work unsupervised.
