Installation & Maintenance Electrician - Ongoing Contract (6 Months+) - Central London - 30-33.75 p/h - Start ASAP

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Installation & Maintenance Electrician to join a respected contractor delivering high-profile commercial projects across Central London. This is an ongoing long-term contract (minimum 6 months) with the potential for extension.

We're looking for someone reliable, professional, and confident working independently across both installation and maintenance activities.

Location: Central London (foot-mobile role, with access to a company van for materials/tools when required)
Pay: 30-33.75 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (occasional weekends)
Start: ASAP
Type: Ongoing temp / minimum 6-month contract

Role & Responsibilities

Carry out commercial installation and FM works across multiple Central London sites
1st & 2nd fix installation, testing, inspection, fault-finding
Planned and reactive maintenance
Working independently, managing your own workload and site responsibilities
Majority of work based around London Underground lines (no track access required)

Requirements

Gold JIB Card (essential)
2391 (Inspection & Testing) - ideally
17th or 18th Edition
Solid background in commercial installation & maintenance
Experience with switchgear/industrial environments advantageous
Reliable, self-sufficient, and comfortable working across multiple sites
Residential-only candidates will not be considered
