Electrician - Permanent - London
A leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor with a strong family culture is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team. This is a varied role combining electrical expertise with general M&E maintenance working across commercial installation and facilities maintenance projects. Salary: 52,500-55,000+ package, Zone 1-6 Travelcard reimbursed through expenses
Location: Central London (foot-mobile role with access to company van when required)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (occasional weekends)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for both installation projects and FM works (service & maintenance) across commercial sites, mainly around London Underground lines
- Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix works, testing, inspection, and fault finding
- Working independently on reactive and planned works
Requirements:
- Gold JIB Card (essential)
- 2391 (Inspection & Testing) qualification (essential)
- 17th or 18th Edition
- Previous experience in commercial installation and maintenance
- Strong background in electrical install projects (switchgear/industrial advantageous)
- Reliable, able to work independently, and flexible to travel between sites
Package:
- 52-55k annual salary
- 40-hour working week
- Access to company van when required (for tools/materials transport)
