Electricians needed in Canary Wharf, London, within easy reach of Camden, Woolwich, Dagenham, Barking, Woodford, Tottenham, Tower Bridge and Hackney, for a 4-month contract running through until Christmas.
Duties
- Full installation of new lighting systems across commercial office spaces, including both general and task lighting fixtures.
- Office fit-out works, covering first and second fix tasks including wiring, socket installation, lighting control, and final terminations.
- Containment installation including metal tray, basket, conduit, trunking, and plastic systems in accordance with site requirements and drawings.
- Strip-out of existing installations, ensuring safe isolation, removal of old wiring, fittings, and electrical components as part of a wider refurbishment.
- 8 Hour Days 250 a day
The successful Electrician will have the following:
- A valid ECS Gold Card (Electrician level).
- Proven experience in office fit-out and commercial installation projects, ideally in fast-paced environments.
- Strong background working on commercial projects, able to interpret drawings and work to high standards.
- Based within a commutable distance of Canary Wharf, reliable and punctual with good site attitude.
- Own tools and PPE, ready to hit the ground running from day one.
