Are you a maintenance electrician looking for a new static Monday - Friday role in London?

This is a day shift role, Monday - Friday 8-4; a 35 hour week.

You will be joining a client side team, and be working for a world leading University on one of their central London Campus. This is a busy campus and you will be tasked with a variety of electrical maintenance tasks as well as some office based duties such as tracking jobs through the CAFM system, and allocating work to junior staff members. As this role is a senior electrician within the team and you will also have the opportunity to mentor newly qualified electrician and maintenance technicians. 

Within this static electrical maintenance role you will be responsible for:

  • Electrical maintenance, planned and reactive, on the University buildings (this is 70% of the role)
  • Allocating work to the team of engineers
  • Updating the CAFM system 
  • Being responsible for contractors on site, to liaise, monitor and control contractor operations 
  • Raising PO numbers, maintaining stock levels 
  • Adhering to health and safety, and building regulations at all times

This role will suit a qualified electrical engineer, who has mentored people before and who wants to become an engineering manager in the future. 

For this static electrician role we are looking for:

  • Fully qualified electrician, level 3, 17th/18th edition (This is essential for the role)

Please note, you must be a qualified maintenance electrician to be considered for this role. We are also looking for:

  • Experience of multi skilled building services maintenance in a similar organisation
  • Experience of working with CAFM systems
  • Some experience of mentoring people. This experience can be minimal, if from a similar environment. 
  • Working knowledge of health and safety which may include an IOSH 
  • Legionella awareness
