LargeHousingAssociationrequiresanexperiencedRepairsInspectorfora6monthperiod.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillensureallrepairsadheretotheperfectjourney,thatresidentsneedonlyaskonce,andanyfailureisfixedquicklywhenexceptioncasesoccur.

Responsibilities:

Ensuringcontractorsandsuppliersareprovidingaconsistentlyhigh-qualityrepairsservice.

Deliveringwellcaredforhomesandplaceswhereresidentsfeelsafeandasenseofpridethroughtopclasscontractmanagement.

Aresponsiveservice,wherestaffandresidentqueriesandcomplaintsareactionedthoroughly,timelyandlearningsaretakenfromfeedback.

Recommend,overseeanddevelopabestinclassreportingrepairsprocessesandpoliciestomeettargetsandfixfailurefast.

AssisttheRegionalRepairLead,SurveyorsandLocalOfficersinthemanagementofresponsiverepairs,kitchenandbathroomaswellasplannedandcyclicalreferrals.

Continuallymonitorthequalityandsuccessofallresponsiverepairs,usingdata,analysisandinsighttoinstigateappropriateimprovementsandrecommendations.

Manageapostinspectionregimeforyourpatch,ensuringthatworksarecarriedouttoagoodstandardandtakingownershipwhereworksarenottoagoodstandardandseenthroughtosuccessfulconclusion.

Manageanaudit/oversightregimeforrepairs,checkingcontractorsarecomplyingwithH&Sobligationsandfollowingthecodeofconduct.

Supportthepreparationofoverallstockconditioninspectionsorundertakinglocalnitialsurveysforreactiveorplannedworks.

Skillsandexperience:

Experienceofworkingwithintherepairssector,carryingoutpre,postauditandqualityinspections

Experienceinformulatingspecifications,managingschedulesofworksandtechnicaldiagnosis

Experienceofcontractormanagement

Experienceofwritinganddisseminatingtechnicalreports

Goodunderstandingoftherelevantlegislation,statutoryandregulatoryrequirements

DEA/FRAassessortrained(desirable)

RecognisedHNDtechnicalqualificationeg.buildingsurveyingormemberCIOB(desirable)
