About the Role: We are seeking a proactive Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team for a 6 or 12 month period. This role involves supporting Managers during investigations, such as disciplinary and absence management, and updating policies as required. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company and be available at short notice or within the next month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle employee relations cases across manufacturing and corporate functions in the UK
- Disciplinary investigations and hearings
- Grievance investigations
- Long-term sickness (LTS) absence management
- Capability management
- Write case reports and comprehensive outcome letters
- Coach leaders through ER casework and be hands-on when necessary
- Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), People Solutions Team, and Team Leaders
Experience and Qualifications:
- Seasoned professional with demonstrable experience in employee relations
- CIPD Level 5 qualification
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in FMCG/Manufacturing ER
- High volume disciplinary and sickness absence management experience
