Our client are seeking a skilled Zinc/ standing seam Roofer and/ or flat roofer to join their team to work on projects around the Shoreditch area of London.
The ideal candidate will be and experienced roofer and can run their own job. This role involves fabricating and installing standing seam roofs, ensuring they are watertight and durable. The Roofer will be responsible for interpreting schematics and working with hand tools to complete projects efficiently and safely.
There is ongoing long term work available with this metal roofing specialist.
Must have own transport.
Duties
Fabricate and install roofing systems using a variety of materials, including Zinc, greencoat.
Perform heavy lifting as required to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing roofing components.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in Zinc roofing is essential.
Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and safety protocols.
Ability to fabricate roofing components.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, profiling machines.
Physical stamina and strength for heavy lifting and working at heights.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
A valid driver's licence
