Job Title: Payroll Change Co-ordinator - Change Impact Assessments (CIA)
Contract: 18-month Contract
Location: Hybrid (1 day per week in London office)
Salary/Rate: Flexible
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Change Co-ordinator to support payroll transformation initiatives across the organisation. This role will focus on assessing, coordinating, and embedding changes that impact payroll processes, systems, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Change Impact Assessments (CIA) to evaluate the effect of payroll system/process changes on employees, stakeholders, and business operations.
- Coordinate payroll change projects and act as a bridge between HR, Finance, IT, and external providers.
- Support testing, validation, and implementation of new payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Document and track risks, issues, and dependencies related to payroll changes.
- Prepare clear communication and training materials for stakeholders affected by change.
- Monitor and report on progress against agreed milestones.
- Provide operational support during payroll transitions and change adoption.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in payroll operations and/or payroll change projects.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, compliance, and best practice.
- Proven ability to conduct change impact analysis and manage stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain technical/process changes to non-specialists.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and managing multiple priorities.
