Are you ready to shape and lead a sustainability strategy that drives genuine environmental impact across critical infrastructure projects?

If the answer to any of the above is yes, then you may be interested in the Environment Manager role that I am currently recruiting for. My client is a leading infrastructure, construction, and property services business with a turnover exceeding 500m, delivering major projects across energy, telecoms, and housing.

Key responsibilities of the Environment Manager will include:

  • Lead on the development and implementation of the environmental and sustainability strategy in collaboration with the SHEQ director.
  • Maintain environmental management systems in line with ISO 14001 by conducting audits across all of their UK sites.
  • Advise on environmental issues whilst offering new solutions and driving change.
  • Monitor and report on environment and sustainability data, liaising with regulatory bodies such as the Environment Agency.

The successful Environment Manager will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in a comparable role, preferably within the utilities, construction, infrastructure, or broader built environment sectors.
  • Holds a degree in an environmental discipline or possesses a relevant professional qualification such as IEMA.
  • Practical knowledge of environmental management systems, including ISO 14001.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including good communication and verbal skills
