Sustainability Consultant

We're working with a leading building services consultancy seeking an Energy & Sustainability Consultant to join their growing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to contribute to innovative, sustainable design solutions across a range of high-profile projects.

The Role:
You'll support the delivery of sustainable building design and energy performance analysis, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary design teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting IES VE modelling for energy and thermal performance.

  • Supporting Part L compliance assessments and TM54 operational energy predictions.

  • Preparing Energy & Sustainability Statements for planning submissions.

  • Undertaking daylight, overheating, and thermal comfort studies.

  • Providing clear, concise report writing and project advice to clients.

  • Supporting embodied and whole life carbon assessments.

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree in a relevant sustainability, environmental, or engineering discipline.

  • Experience in energy and building physics modelling (IES VE essential).

  • Strong understanding of Building Regulations Part L and The London Plan.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships effectively.

  • Qualified or working towards CIBSE membership (support provided).
