Graduate Air Quality Consultant - London - 25,000 to 30,000 + Full Training + Benefits

A respected UK-based Environmental Consultancy is seeking a Graduate Air Quality Consultant to join their London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career in environmental consultancy, supporting high-profile air quality and emissions projects across the capital and beyond.

Essential Criteria:

  • A degree (BSc or MSc) in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, Physics, or a related discipline.

  • A strong interest in air quality, emissions, and environmental monitoring.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong analytical and data handling abilities.

  • A full UK driving licence.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Familiarity with air quality issues in the UK (e.g., DEFRA, LAQM, AQMA).

  • Basic knowledge of air dispersion modelling tools (e.g., ADMS, AERMOD).

  • Any experience (placement/internship/academic project) related to air pollution or environmental monitoring is advantageous.

The Role:
As a Graduate Air Quality Consultant, you will assist with the delivery of air quality assessments and emissions studies for planning and permitting projects. You'll receive structured training and mentoring to develop core consultancy skills and technical expertise.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting air quality and emissions assessments for developments and infrastructure schemes.

  • Assisting with air dispersion modelling and GIS mapping.

  • Conducting site-based monitoring and data collection.

  • Contributing to technical reports and planning documents.

  • Collaborating with environmental scientists, planners, and engineers.
