We are looking for an Events Administrator to join a reputable and well-respected national professional membership body, supporting the Events Managers and Deputy Head of International, and Divisions.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the smooth delivery of a diverse range of events across the UK and internationally. From behind-the-scenes planning to on-the-day coordination, you will provide essential support to ensure every event runs seamlessly — whether online or in person.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for events, working closely with the Event Manager to ensure everything runs smoothly from planning through to delivery
  • Act as the first point of contact for event enquiries, offering a professional and helpful response to delegates, speakers, and colleagues
  • Coordinate event communications, including sending speaker invitations, reminders, and confirmations
  • Manage shared email inboxes, responding to queries and keeping records accurate and up to date
  • Process registrations, payments, and refunds for delegates and speakers using the organisation’s database
  • Create and distribute promotional emails and marketing materials to help drive event attendance
  • Use the organisation’s social media channels to promote events and engage target audiences
  • Prepare a range of event materials such as name badges, delegate packs, course content, and attendance lists
  • Attend in-person events to provide on-site support to delegates, speakers, organisers, and committee members, helping to ensure a seamless experience for all
  • Generate reports using event data and provide post-event insights as required
  • Support committees and clinical organisers with administrative tasks relating to event planning and delivery
  • Create and maintain up-to-date, user-friendly event webpages
  • Assist in the technical production of online events, managing audiovisual elements such as camera feeds and microphone controls
  • Conduct technical run-throughs with speakers in advance of events to ensure they are fully prepared
  • Provide real-time technical assistance to attendees, ensuring they can access and participate in online events without issue
  • Be flexible and willing to travel across England and stay overnight when required to support in-person events
About You:You’ll be confident in managing competing priorities, with a professional and composed approach. Your communication skills will allow you to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders, and your strong attention to detail will ensure accuracy across all aspects of your work. You’ll have:
  • Experience in an administrative or events-based role
  • Strong IT skills, including confidence using databases, email marketing tools, and social media
  • A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with virtual event platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams (desirable)
