THE ROLE

Due to business growth and team expansion, an exciting position has become available for an Events Executive to come on board and manage a portion of their growing portfolio of events. Working within their close knit and busy events team responsibilities are broad and include:

  • Project manage 14+ events per year.
  • Responsible for ownership, accountability, and reporting for all logistical elements of the allocated events.
  • Liaise with the venue in the lead up to the event: floorplan, venue function sheet etc.
  •  Process invoices to ensure prompt payment and facilitation of post-event. 
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with speakers, sponsors, and delegates.
  • Build event communication for all attendees.
  • Consult and liaise with suppliers and raising purchase orders and confirming requirements and on-site management.
  • Negotiate with venues DDR discounts, extension of deadlines, flexibility on cancellation terms signed etc. 
  • Book accommodation for the team and approved speakers.
  • Develop good internal relationships with all departments, ensuring clear communication is always made and act as the main point of contact.
  • Arrange shipment of your materials to venues.
  • Work on event budgets aligned with companies KPI's.
  • Build post event reports.
  • Attend site visits.

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates should come with experience of working within corporate conferences, having exposure to the full end to end process of event management. Candidates must have excellent communication and administration capabilities along with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Candidates must be open to travelling onsite to support with the delivery of events.
