THE ROLE

Due to their ongoing success, they are now looking for an Operations Manager to join their team and be responsible for delivering a portfolio of exhibitions across the year.

A broad role, responsibilities will include:

  • Producing high quality events within agreed budget and deadlines
  • Ensuring the technical aspects of all events run smoothly
  • Management and implementation of internal and external Service Level Agreements
  • Budget management
  • Negotiation with suppliers to ensure best prices without compromising on quality
  • Project planning and scheduling
  • Health and Safety management of shows whilst onsite
  • Writing Risk Assessments & Fire Risk Assessments for shows
  • Design and production of all feature areas
  • Liaison with contractors, suppliers, and exhibitors
  • Post event reporting and analysis
  • Day to day liaison with internal event teams
  • Management and maintenance of floorplans & online technical manuals
  • Ensuring the fulfilment of all sponsorship and contra deals
  • Manage events onsite independently or with the support of the Operations Coordinator / Executive

 

 

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have similar experience gained from working within an exhibitions environment and have a proven background of managing their own exhibitions from brief through to delivery. Candidates must be client facing and would benefit from experience in floor plan production and management, in addition to solid budget management skills.
