Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced 360 Operator to join our team for a short-term project in London. This role involves operating heavy machinery to assist with drainage excavation and lifting manhole covers. The position is available for a duration of 2-3 weeks, offering an excellent opportunity for professionals with the required certifications to contribute to a critical project.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 360 excavator efficiently and safely in accordance with project requirements.
- Excavate for drainage systems with precision and care to ensure project specifications are met.
- Lift and position manhole covers as part of the drainage installation process.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the site team to ensure smooth and timely project completion.
- Valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) or NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience operating a 360 excavator in a construction or civil engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices related to heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Begin each day with a safety briefing and equipment inspection.
- Operate the 360 excavator to perform excavation and lifting tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Monitor the condition of the machinery and report any issues promptly.
