What You'll Do:

As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to two partners in the Conveyancing department. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and outstanding service delivery. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Secretarial Support: Assist two partners by managing their schedules, booking appointments, and arranging meetings.
  • Document Management: Audio and copy type legal documents using digital dictation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a point of contact for estate agents, solicitors, lenders, and clients, facilitating effective communication.
  • File Management: Handle file opening, closing, and retrieval procedures while complying with SRA and GDPR regulations.
  • Filing Tasks: organise electronic and manual filing of documents for easy access and retrieval.
  • Client Interaction: Attend to clients both in person and over the phone, providing excellent service and support.
  • Administrative Assistance: Help with case administration and prepare essential documents such as Contracts, Leases, Completion Statements, and Land Registry Applications.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Conveyancing Secretary in a law firm is highly desirable.
