Responsible to: Executive Assistant to the Executive Director

Are you an organised and professional individual with experience as an Executive Assistant? My client is seeking an Executive Assistant who will play a vital role in the Community and Children's Services department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Directorate Leadership Team and elected Members.
  • Manage diaries, organise meetings, and produce high-quality documents.
  • Handle general enquiries and coordinate responses to Freedom of Information requests and Complaints.
  • Support in planning, writing, and circulating meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Maintain confidential filing systems and assist with project research and administrative tasks.
  • Develop and maintain internal systems to enhance business unit efficiency.
  • Assist with financial tasks, including purchase orders and petty cash administration.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other IT software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in administrative support or a similar role is desirable.
