Overview:

A high-profile government agency tackling serious financial crime is seeking a proactive and reliable Personal Assistant to provide temporary executive support during a period of internal secondments and maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful work supporting senior leadership across two critical divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide dedicated executive support to two Heads of Division: Head of a Crime Investigation Division and the Head of Proceeds of Crime & International Investigations.

  • Manage inboxes and calendars, ensuring effective prioritisation and time management.

  • Screen correspondence and manage internal/external communication professionally.

  • Coordinate and minute meetings as required.

  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion while handling sensitive or restricted information.

  • Collaborate with the wider team and Line Manager to support divisional operations.

  • Deliver high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Person Specification:

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior management in a PA/EA capacity.

  • Excellent diary and inbox management skills, with a methodical and proactive approach.

  • Capable of producing clear meeting agendas and accurate minutes.

  • Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

  • Comfortable with hybrid working arrangements and navigating a dynamic schedule.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working in a law enforcement, legal, public sector or government setting.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Information:
  • You will be covering a seconded EA while the Divisional Business Manager is on maternity leave (due to return in Nov 2025), so no extension is expected.

  • Interviews are preferred face-to-face and will be scheduled on 12th May.
