KennedyPearce are hiring a Finance Analyst- IT/Capex focused. This role is hybrid working on a 12 month FTC, working 3 days in the office. We are looking for immediate candidates with cost focused experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the IT recoveries process, ensuring accurate allocation of resource costs to projects on a monthly basis
  • Administer the quarterly recharge of IT management costs to capital projects
  • Lead the month-end reporting for IT contracts, including accruals, prepayments, journal postings, and reconciliations
  • Track actual spend vs. budget, identify variances, and highlight risks and opportunities to the IT Business Partner
  • Support the IT Business Partner with budgeting and forecasting for BAU IT contract costs and project spend, with detailed analysis of changes
  • Ensure accurate accounting for IT projects, including correct divisional reporting and variance analysis
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and financial support to the wider IT team as needed
  • Deliver detailed analysis of TSA (Transitional Services Agreement) IT charges, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing
  • Maintain accurate ledger entries and updates for TSA-related costs, adjusting as contracts evolve

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, especially with non-finance stakeholders
  • Highly numerate with a strong analytical mindset
  • Experience with project and SaaS accounting is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data modelling)
  • Organised, flexible, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
