Our client is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their team in London on a 1 year fixed term contract. You will be responsible for financial management and reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and providing decision support. You will have the chance to utilise your strong financial planning skills and outstanding communication abilities to make a significant impact on the business.
What you'll do:
As a Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial information and providing valuable insights to inform strategic decisions. Your responsibilities will include proactive management of booking information, compiling comprehensive forecasts, preparing detailed budgets, and managing the commission structure. You will also provide crucial support in operational decision-making by modelling outcomes of various scenarios. Your ability to respond promptly to queries from various stakeholders will be key in this role.
* Proactively manage the publication of daily and weekly booking information
* Compile and publish monthly and quarterly full year forecasts covering revenues and overheads
* Prepare insightful monthly commentaries analysing current trading position, KPIs, market data, and reforecasts
* Prepare annual budget using current trading, market projections and business initiatives
* Manage the framework for the business commission structure
* Provide value adding support and analysis to the business on operational decisions
* Model financial and non-financial outcomes of alternative scenarios
* Respond promptly to queries from business representatives and external parties
