Goodman Masson are searching for a Finance Analyst to join a leading global Private Equity firm based in London's West End. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain broad exposure across fund finance, working in a high-performing team that partners closely with investment professionals and senior stakeholders.

The role will involve working with investment and execution teams to ensure optimal liquidity management, executing FX trades, and managing loan facility utilisations. The successful candidate will also contribute to financial reporting, fund performance analysis, and investor communication, helping to shape strategy and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with external counterparties to execute FX trades and manage loan drawdowns;
  • Supporting investment teams with liquidity planning, ensuring sufficient funds to meet commitments while maximising returns;
  • Monitoring and reviewing investment valuations, analysing financial statements, and ensuring accuracy in reporting;
  • Working with Investor Relations to provide fund performance insights and support fundraising efforts;
  • Preparing reports for senior management, aiding in strategy discussions and financial planning;
  • Partnering with fund administrators to review and enhance financial reporting processes.

Key Skills:

  • Recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) - up to 2 years PQE;
  • Experience in Private Equity, Asset Management, or Financial Services preferred but not essential;
  • Strong academics;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to influence strategic decision-making;
  • Forward-thinking approach, eager to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
