Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track Capex projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Analyse and evaluate Capex proposals to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, contracts and company policies
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the performance and ROI of completed projects.
- Provide regular status update reports and presentations to senior management on Capex performance and trends including regular business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in Capex management.
- Collaborate with teams to streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance data accessibility.
- Develop and maintain cost-performance metrics and dashboards to monitor cost performance and identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Participate in benchmarking exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably with a focus on Capex.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and financial modelling.
- Proficiency in using financial systems and data visualisation tools.
- Ability to synthesise complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- An interest in process improvement and driving efficiencies.
