About the Client

Our client, a French Globally recognised luxury brand who specialise in patisserie are expanding in the UK and looking for a Financial Analyst - Part Time (3 days a week). This is a newly created position.

Salary: c£40k pro-rata (equates to £24k 3 days a week)

Hours: 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm 3 days a week

Location: Office based, Park Royal, London

Reporting: To the Head of Finance

About the Role

As a Financial Analystthe main responsibility will be the accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices within Microsoft Dynamics 365. The

role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of colleagues across different functions within the fast-paced and exciting business. Other responsibilities include:

  • Purchase Order and Invoice Processing: Create and process purchase orders in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and match with purchase invoices once received from suppliers.
  • Inventory Management: Analysis of inventory and wastage across stores and product lines, including physical inventory counts at month-end and year-end.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting procedures, including preparation of store P&Ls used for supporting key business decisions.
  • Multi-Tasking & Prioritisation: Manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and professionally handle open purchase-related queries with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Adherence to Controls: Ensure compliance and practice of controls for purchase invoices and transactions.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices as these occur.
  • Supplier Account Reconciliation
  • Ensure suppliers are paid promptly and promote positive relationships with all suppliers.

About You

Are you a Financial Analyst looking for a part time role within a fast paced / responsive environment? You will require the following skills

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable processing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is essential.
  • Methodical, organised, and controls-oriented approach to Accounts Payable tasks from initial purchase order to supplier payment.
  • Strong team player with a co-operative attitude towards working together
  • Knowledge of VAT rules for purchases would be an advantage
  • Broader experience within other aspects of Finance roles considered advantageous.
  • Looking for someone solution orientated and confident in recommending ideas to management.
