We’re supporting a high-profile public sector organisation through a period of change to recruit a Financial Analyst. This two-year fixed-term contract offers the opportunity to sit at the heart of a major transformation programme, playing a key role in supporting procurement through financial analysis and modelling.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead on modelling and analysis of supplier pricing during procurement to ensure value for money.
  • Provide financial insight to the COO and senior stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities linked to transformation.
  • Support medium-term planning and budget setting for multi-year contracts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Assist with negotiations and review proposed charges through robust financial modelling.
  • Oversee forecasting processes and support the implementation of strong financial controls.
  • Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

This position is based in central London and offers hybrid working, requiring you to go into the office three days per week. You will also benefit from an employer pension contribution of c.£15,000 pa., a generous annual leave allowance and unparallelled wellbeing benefits.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a fully qualified Accountant with excellent Excel modelling and financial analysis skills.
  • Possess strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify technical finance for non-financial audiences.
