OneoftheUKsleadingprovidersofcriticalUKlogisticsinfrastructurerequiresaFinancialPlanningAnalysttobebasedoutoftheirLondonoffice(3daysintheoffice/2WFH).

TherolesprimarypurposeistosupporttheFP&Ateamwithdrivingefficiency,effectivenessandimprovementstofinancialprocessesandsystems,promotingbestpracticesacrossthefunction.

Theanalystwillalsoworkcloselywiththeteamwhererequiredonperformancemanagement,partnering,planningandforecastinginordertoprovideinsightfulandvaluablefinancialanalysisofthegroupsactivitiestosupporttheBoard,ExecTeamandSeniorLeadersinthedecision-makingprocess.

FunctionalCostManagement&Analysis

  • Financialmanagementformonthend,businessplanningandforecastingforvariousFunctionsensuringstrongcontrolofP&Landbalancesheetperformanceandadherencetocompanypolicyandgovernance

FP&AProcesses&Systems

  • SupporttheFP&AManagerCentralFunctionsDriveefficiencyandeffectivenessinfinancialprocessesandsystemspromotingbestpracticesacrossthefunction

PerformanceManagement&Analysis

  • SupporttheFP&ALeadPerformanceManagementwiththetimelyproductionofmonthlymanagementreporting,providinginsightfulupdatesofthegroupsperformanceagainstbudget

BusinessPlanning&Forecasting

  • SupporttheFP&ALeadPlanning&Forecastingonthetimelyproduction,reviewandpresentationofthegroupsannualbusinessplanningprocessandquarterlyforecastingprocess

FunctionalCostManagement&Analysis

  • SupporttheFP&AManagerCentralFunctionstoprovidefinancialinsightstodrivedecision-making,improveprofitabilityandenableinformedstrategicdecisionsforCentralFunctions

Requiredskills

  • ProfessionalQualificationrequiredorpartqualified(ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
  • Self-starterwithanenquiringandpositivemindset
  • Strongcommunicationskillsandabilitytoconstructivelychallengealllevelsofanorganisation
  • Abletoengagewithseniorstakeholdersanddevelopgoodrelationships
  • Highlynumerate,stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingcapabilities
