Cedar is currently partnered with a fast-scaling, VC-backed Tech business to secure an Interim Finance Analyst. The role is a 6-month contract, paying £400-£475/day (Inside IR35).

With a strong digital footprint and a data-led operating model, the business is investing in its finance function to support deeper commercial insight, enhanced performance tracking, and tighter alignment with growth initiatives across marketing and product.
The RoleAs Interim Finance Analyst, you will:
- Deliver budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting across revenue, margin, and cash flow.
- Build out reporting decks combining financial and operational data to generate actionable insight.
- Partner with marketing and digital teams to assess campaign performance and optimise spend effectiveness.
- Collaborate with functional budget owners to track variances and surface risks and opportunities.
- Support scenario modelling, business cases and ad hoc analysis to inform key decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvements across reporting processes, tooling, and automation.
Your ProfileYou will ideally have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Strong experience in commercial finance or FP&A, ideally within a high-growth, tech-enabled or digital-first environment.
- Advanced Excel and modelling skills - with a comfort working with large datasets.
- Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and/or SQL preferred.
- Confident business partner with experience supporting non-finance stakeholders across marketing, product, or digital.
- A delivery-focused mindset, with the ability to work at pace and adapt in a changing environment.
