Oliver James are currently working with an insurance client in London recruiting for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join on a permanent basis. To be considered for this role you must , have full right to work in the UK, treasury experience (Cash management flow) and Syndicate experience.

Further Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in treasury, finance, or cash management.
  • Prior experience with payment execution and cash flow forecasting is essential.
  • Syndicate experience essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail orientated and proven organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

If you have the above skills and experience , this role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Manage daily cash positioning, ensuring optimal cash levels across European entities.
  • Monitor and forecast daily cash requirements to maintain liquidity and maximise the use of excess cash.
  • Execute inter company fund transfers and manage cash pooling structures.
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Analyse variances between actual and forecasts, providing actionable insights.
  • Prepare regular cash flow reports for senior management.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of cash positions and forecast accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of treasury-related reports for audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data for accurate forecasting.
