AVP, Equities Product Control

  • Oversee daily profit and loss production and reporting processes.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Perform detailed analysis on trading performance and related metrics.
  • Collaborate with trading desks to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Maintain and enhance financial controls and processes within the organisation.
  • Support month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior members of the team.

Profile

AVP, Equities Product Control

Banking & Financial Services

A successful AVP-Product Control should have:

  • A strong background in Product Control (ideally Capital markets and Structured products), particularly within the Investment Bank or Brokerage space.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • In-depth knowledge of product control processes and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and analytical tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Python / SQL or Alteryx preferred but not a must.
